Clyde - Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme
Clyde's Page
Some of our guests in the early days met Clyde while he was at Bluebell Barn b and b. He had a strong character as you will remember but we have some good news for all of his fans out there.
Clyde holds the distinction of being the first working dog for the Pathfinder Guide Dog Program, He qualified on 10th Feb 2010.
For those of you who have been following Clyde's progress on the Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme (he was a Bluebell Barn resident from 9 weeks old - bless him, to 2 years old) you will be delighted to learn that he has PASSED.
On the right you can see our little boy all grown up with his new handler, Robin. The second picture shows him showing off his new harness.
All us at our Norfolk bed and breakfast have told Clyde how proud we are of him. He said that all dog biscuits and dog bone donations plus requests for autographs should be made through his agents, Mark and Karen at Bluebell Barn b and b. He notes though that he can not respond in person these days as he is now a busy working boy. He also has had to learn some Welsh, as that's where he lives now. Apparently he knows where the coffee shop is!
Bonnie
Clydes sister Bonnie has also passed. Tony Barclay is Bonnie's new handler and she now lives in Northern Ireland. She is the second dog for the Pathfinder guide dog programme. Well done Bonnie and Tony.
